By the way GM had two plants in the Los Angeles area, South Gate, CA and  
Van Nuys - Now both closed.
 
I mis-identified the plant for the Corvair. The Corvairs were built in Van  
Nuys - The last cars built there were the 3rd Gen Camaros, through 1992.
 
The South Gate, CA plant was mostly BOP cars, but built Monzas, and  Maybe 
Vegas - Closed in 1982.
