<VV> Lathe Headstock Spindle

Hi All
   My brother gave me this Atlas Lathe and to haul it we had to take it 
apart and had to cut the drive belt, now I am having a problem removing the 
spindle to install a new belt.
  On the internet I found instructions for atlas models 612 and 618 but 
mine is Atlas model OC42 and the 612-618 instuctions don't work.
 Does anyone know where I can fine instructions for model OC42 .

P.S. This unit has timken bearings the 618 has solid brass bearings.
