 It would not work as well as removing the shrouds. The doors, etc., are just too restrictive and small.

You could also just remove the thermostats and doors, to get a lower
temperature but still get heat. Mark Durham

I have a question. How many of our LM turbo owners run with the lower
shrouds off? The obvious lower cylinder head temperature is the result. I
find even in the Indiana fall weather I still get enough heat from the upper
shroud to warm the cab.

Might be.. but you don't get good / quick boost!!  Cylinder heads need
to be 400F  minimum for quick boost..
