<VV> Fw: Ball Joints on late Models ?

Mine were lowers to go first. 
 Troublesome to replace. Need some ball joint tools. But, cheeep ones work for 
home repair. Much caution with springs. My best move was to remove the upper and 
lower to get a bit more room to work, but brake assy can be tied a bit out of 
the way, so you dont break a finger.

 Good solid jack under lower A frame for secure replacement.

The lowers go first as the entire load of the front end are on them.  On my 
'62, the tapered stud snapped in half just under the nut and washer.
