 That's what I meant. The diff is completely interchangeable. And, if you're brave enough to press the pinion off of the shaft, well, you can change out the shaft as well.

Nope. The pinion shaft is different from automatic to manual trans. IT WILL NOT 
WORK. But the ring gear carrier and ring and pinion gears will work. There are 
some very good booklets (I bought mine thru the Corvanatics club) regarding 
setting up the diff. You certainly must be careful. (Don't ask me how I know 
this).
