I went to Lime Rock today to enter my Fitch in the Sunday car show. (No racing 
on Sunday jus saturday and Monday) I was just driving out when John was coming 
down the track in the opposite direction in his Phoenix. We exchanged a few 
brief words and a left handed greeting. John and Phoenix looked fine.

I got 23 MPG with a 3:55 and 205 60 13 tires at about 3500 rpm for 65 on 
highway. About 40 miles an hour in the hills and back roads.  No other Corvairs 
there, but it got lots of learned attention and a few "Duh! what is it?" Also 
met old/current John Fitch mechanic and had interesting words with him and his 
wife.
