I think the residual magnetism in an alternator will also allow it to 
self start. Something I should try. But it will wait till after the 
Virginia Vair Fair.


9 volt battery is all it needs...  connect one from the F  term and ground...  push start the car if possible and it will start charging that dead battery!


Done it a few times down in Baja....
