i finally found a good use for those silly aluminum fuel pump plugs they
used for filling the fuel pump hole when converting to electric pumps. I
ended up with a couple from motors i recently took apart.
they make a good (better!) looking plug for the oil filler hole on the
alternator mount for a non 65 FC motor! much better looking than the softplug
method.
press it in place on a warmed adapter with a dab of gray epoxy. about as
close to stock looking as they get!
