I'll bet the lower tube (the one that is clamped into the top cover) or the 
 upper tube is full of crud.  Get a stiff test tube or small bottle brush  
and thoroughly clean them out.  The orifice is probably fine.  If  you've 
never cleaned the tubes out you won't believe the black crud that builds  up.
