<VV> Wiring harness tape?

Mercedes Benz has a real nice cloth tape that looks very much like the original stuff only it sticks better.

hat's right and causes a problem if you try to use it whan the wire harness is 
nplace. That makes it difficult to propperly apply the tape because of the many 
ends and close quarters, especially under the dash. I use good old electrical 
ape and haven't had any come apart in the ten years it's been in the car. I 
an't say if it will last another 30 like to original did.

e stuff I like to use is a silicone tape.  It really only sticks to itself; 
t you wrap under tension (stretch it some) it sticks to itself.  I have been 
ld over time it kinda welds itself together.  This works way better than vinyl 
ectrical tape.
