I'm in Virginia, where last week we had high 90s with high 90s 
humidity!  And so is Bill Hubbell! And this is just June....

Yes, I have driven most stock systems, not just GM, in this weather all 
my life.... 50+ driving years.

Max, Max, Max....

Keep it in  low gear in traffic, stay well away from the car in front of 
you (not applicable to stock Corvair).

Oh, maybe this is because it doesn't produce 5T of cooling at idle... My 
POINT! He will still need several tons of ice even though he is not 
speed of engine dependent.

Or, if it was  that easy, don't you think JC Whitney would have ice 
chests for sale as car accessories?
