Yeah, but just where are you located? GM rated the factory unit for 5T
for cooling in places like Phoenix, where it gets to be 115 for weeks on end
or Corpus Christi, where it gets into the high 90's with humidity to match.
The homemade system wouldn't require 60 MPH to cool---have you ever
driven a stock A/C system in Texas traffic where you never get the RPMs anywhere
near 3000--which is what a 3.55 rear end shows at 60 MPH.
