<VV> Harmonic Damper(Not balancer)

Smitty, I don't have your experience with the need for harmonic balancers nor have I ever been to South Dakota but I do have a question for the group. Can a harmonic balancer be installed on an early engine? Like a 102 or 150 HP engine?
