<VV> Oil Leak

Howdy Folks,

Working on a '63 Vert. Did a complete reseal on the engine, for leaking oil. 
Dipstick tube pushes oil out. Put a different dipstick with a rubber cap style 
seal and the leak is better but still there. Has the proper crossover tube 
between the carb mounts. no pcv valve and the small hole in the crank vent tube. 
No oil is seen comming out the aftermarket filter on the crank vent tube. Is it 
ok to plug the dipstick tube?

Pull the pan and break off the lower portion of the tube... works every time!!


Chevy drilled a hole next to the block  at some point..
