Daniel,
They come off fine if you remove the carb studs. Lowering the engine a bit on it's mounts helps.

Need to remove/replace left head on a Greenbrier but, don't remember if it is possible and/or practical to remove it without removing powertrain just by lowering engine. Have done easily on LM cars but, my memory is not working well about this on FCs.
