Mike,
>From what I've seen Maxis no longer has these tires either. Their US
headquarters is in Duluth, GA.
I emailed them and was told that they are discontinued and that there were
none in their warehouses. I got mine from Clark's. lclc also has had them.
The ones I got from Clark's were of recent manufacture. Oct., 2010. I
haven't installed them yet.

Good evening everyone,
I've been looking on the internet for tires, don't remember if it's been
brought up here lately. I came up with Maxxis 90S MA-1 in size 185-80-13.
Everything else in this size has been discontinued as far as I can tell. I
read that at least one Corvair person was using these tires, but that was
at least a year ago. Wondered what people thought about them after they
got some miles on them.
I also found I could buy BFGoodrich Silvertowns for almost 200 apiece.
I'll pass on those. Silvertowns are nice tires, though, I had some on a 59
Ford.
I'm going to contact my local tire store tomorrow whose website says they
sell Maxxis. Hope they have some good news.
