<VV> Gas heater fuel line

Im ready to put the gas tank back in my Rampside and I am putting in a gas 
heater. What size is the fuel line that goes from the rear that passes thru past 
the front of the tank along the inner side of the frame rail? And it looks 
rather small and I was wondering if it would be better to run a larger fuel line 
from the back and reduce it down before it gets to the regulator fitting? Any 
advice appriciated.
