<VV> RE; Conventions

Just a few facts about conventions :
   I have been to more than 10 conventions and was part of two ( Daytona 
and Jacksonville ) No. 1  Its not easy to find a hotel that can handle our 
conventions ( Rooms, Meeting rooms, Parking, Banquet, Show area etc.) and also 
have places for moving events in the area. No. 2  Trailer parking ? also 
hard to find, over the years more and more trailers are showing up at 
conventions for a number of reasons ( Concours cars, one rain storm and you have to 
re-clean your car top and bottom, hard to find repair shops in route that can 
work on 50 year old cars and have parts on hand, many of the corvairs do 
not have Air Conditioning so we trailer them " We have gotten spoiled ", some 
autocross and road race cars are not street legal).
  So lets not be too hard on the hard working clubs that put on these 
conventions.
