Smitty Says;     To all who know and care about Walter.  He has had a stroke and is in a hospital.  He has lost the use of his left side limbs and is unable to swallow.   He can speak intelligably.  For those who do not know Walter he was one of the most dedicated members ever to driving his car to conventions.  Many will remember him having transmission troubles on his way to Albuquerque when he drove most of the way across Oklahoma in low gear (PG), found a tranny in a junk yard, swapped it out and continued to the convention.  He arrived there the night of the banquit from Virginia.  He did not know the word "Quit".
