And this tank needs to be described as a LM because? (fill in the blank)  What makes this tank any different than any other 61-69 tank?  Yes, the senders differ, but they aren't part of the tank, just attached to  it.

I do applaud any efforts to salvage original Corvair parts [it's more in line with the "frugal" nature true to many original Corvair aficionados] instead of following the any more all too easy repro path, recognizing that there are those times when one really needs a part that is only available because a vendor has had it reproduced.  Ala, the "it's too rusty, and it's cheaper, quicker, and easier  to buy a repro than restore this original part" crowd.

We need more Richard Widmans!
