<VV> 2013 Convention

The Springfield IL Chapter had the serious discussion LAST month. and it 
failed.

And I am sorry to say, I was not able to persuade the membership, in 
sufficient numbers, to be the host.  I had a lot of the bid ready to go, had 
a hotel lined up, half the committee chairs or more. But, the chapter had 
strong feelings about the convention, some left over from the 1998 
convention which we helped with one of the events (econo-run).
The thunderstorm was nasty. darkened the sky.  Temp changed enough that the 
ladies bought out all the sweatshirts in the indoor vending area.  two days 
later it was back in the 90s.

CORSA IS Still seeking a chapter or chapters willing to host the 2013 
convention -- and 2014 for that matter (in the west)
