Mark-
Right on!! The only sound proofing material that I'd known about previously was the dynamat material,
its good to know about some of the other alternatives. Previously, with my other early (62 spyder
with a 140 installed, single exhaust) I put 4 coats of rubberized uncoating on the entire floor
(including the hat shelf) and all of the interior part of the rear fenders (removed rear seat side
panels to access)- I did it for rustproofing only, but was amazed at how much quieter it was inside
after the carpets and seats were back in!
