While I have you on the topic of shops, I wanted to ask about the "rotisserie" type setup I saw displayed at Carlisle a few years ago. This thing would be ideal for a lot of the work I do on my Vairs. I've never yet detailed the undercarriage of a car because it was such a daunting task laying face up on a creeper with bit of rust and dirt landing on my face... but with one of those things I'd really be able to do the full on restoration I've always dreamed of doing! Does anyone have any experience with using one on a corvair? Some at least attach to the wheel hubs which wouldn't be very good for what I have in mind since I'd want to use it with the suspension off the car. How about building something of this variety myself? Could we bolt it to the bumper mounts if the car was stripped down (lighter)?
