  I am starting to rebuild the front suspension on my white 62 Monza wagon.  While I have it apart I want to paint the bottom sheet metal.
 
What color did the factory use for the bottom of the floor pans and the sheet metal  under the trunk and gas tank?
 
Was it body color or a primer?
