<VV> Vair Mechanic Need in CT or NY

An acquaintance of mine needs a Corvair mechanic in either the New London, CT or Westchester Co. NY area.  He needs carburetor, carb thermostat, fuel system and/or brake work done on a Corvair that has been parked for a long period.  Maybe other odds & ends too. The car has been garage kept, just not driven in a while.  Now it's not running good.  Please let me know if you have someone to recommend in those areas.
