<VV> staples on LM engine to body seal

A late model Corvair has a one piece seal around the engine that pushes onto
a bent flange.  There are no staples on a late.

IIRC.. the top of the rubber was stapled to the small metal strips that bolted to the body....


I'm sure my 47 k mile '69  had them.
