Me, too.  It got me a free T-shirt and water bottle at the Del Mar fair 
this summer.

Really though, that cheapie orange extension cord in the trunk was a bit 
of a turn off -- I would have expected something that didn't look and 
smell like it came from HF -- gave me pause to wonder what else was sent 
out to the cheapest Asian bidder ...

The front of the Corvair would be a great place to transplant a front 
drive electric system, like that out of one of those old S-10's.   When 
the batteries get low, switch to the engine in the back.
