Bruce, before sending those parts back, the only difference is the
lenght of the crank flange back there in the bell housing, that you
need to worry about.
I just stroked my 62 102 to a 64 110 and I reused my recently replaced
62 clutch and bell housing. What you need to look for is where that
forward seal you press into the bell housing rides on the crank seal
surface. If it is too close to the edge, clarks sells a spacer to move
the seal aft.
One thing I do not know about is if there are differences in clearance
in the 64 bell housing, or if that is the same as the rest of the
earlies.
Anyway, my 64 110 engine works fine with the 62 clutch. Mark Durham
