Or you can get the free supercharging system that comes with your late model Corvair....
Tap the pre-heat duct from the engine to heater, rout it to your air intake.
Viola... free supercharging, pressure varies with engine speed, even better...

And there is a good reason for that. It is. But auxiliary superchargers do
work. HotRod Magazine did a great story on adding leaf-blowers - (gas
powered) as add-ons to a mid-eighties Corvette. These were big-time blowers.
One mattered and two (in parallel) mattered more. Check it out:
