<VV> internally regulated alternator source/price?

Correct JR. The alternator regulator has a 4 wire multipin connector that hooks up to it. The generator regulator has 3 individual "open eyelet" wires that hook up to it. Also the alternator regulator mounts in rubber. Why any of this matters I don't know since the original question pertains to finding cheap parts.
