Absolutly correct. The rated temp limit for Viton is not that higher
than neoprene - but IS higher enough to make a difference. Also Viton
does not "set" when overheated as badly as neoprene. The point being,
as Bob said, you CAN ruin Viton in a Corvair if you try.
