In California, our airplanes are taxed annually as property, along with our homes. We DO have a provision that exempts 25 year old and older aircraft from this tax if we display the plane 12 times a year. This is a good thing for the like of P-51 and other Warbird owners as their values soar into the millions. Mike McCrae
