<VV> To Ping or Not to Ping ? - "Premium" vs. "regular" gas

I'm not so sure - I have a couple of first hand reports of 110 HP Corvairs that didn't ping (at least that the owner could detect), but also "doesn't run quite right."  Premium made the cars run noticeably better with no other change.  I guess if you can't tell the difference then buy regular :-)
