Flaming River sells boxes to everyone, but Clark's is a Corvair Specialty
retailer, which is why I expected more from them.
Flaming River steering shafts cost a few hundred $$$
Clark's catalog says their box is "ready to bolt in" so I called and the
tech guy said "No" and he said that the flat has to be ground locally.
However, I just spoke with Mark at Clark's and he assured that the Flaming
River Box does in fact have the flat ground as required for 1967-1969, and
the tech guy who said that they don't grind it should have asked what year
it was before giving the wrong information.
