First, if anyone who was there took photos, kindly e-mail a few to me

During the day one car developed an oil leak... and it was not a 
Corvair!  It was a bugeye Sprite, spraying lubricant from an aftermarket 
oil cooler.

It has been noted that the rains came late in the day.  The rain helped 
Al Lacki stay on top of the non-Corvair chart, since he drove under dry 
conditions.  But it has to be said that Al turned in a whale of a 
drive.  Al left his 1966 Corvair at home and put his Toyota Yaris on the 
track.  Who knew that a Yaris could carry that much straightaway speed 
into a corner!  Al had the tiny Toy haulin' the mail.
