I agree that members of local clubs, especially chapters of Corsa, should be 
members of the National club.

As a member of Toastmasters, it is a requirement, and I believe  it is true 
of all large organizations, and it makes sense to do it that way.

Although it will almost certainly have an impact on the local clubs, I think 
in the long run, it will have a positive impact when Corvair owners see the 
collective value of belonging to both clubs.

In Toastmasters, the local club dues include the (inter)national club dues, 
which the local club collects and passes up to the (inter)national club.

I can see there are a lot of details to be considered, but it should all 
lead to a bigger, stronger club at all levels.
