Pretty interesting site.
About halfway down the page He advocates swapping rod caps to change big ends weights and ease the balance process since its hard to remove material from Corvainr big ends.
I just sent him an e-mail with this - One point - swapping caps to improve or equalize rod big end for balancing would almost certainly end up with rod big ends with severely out of round and curiously shaped bearing bores. The big end bore is machined after the The cap and rod are assembled and torqued.
