<VV> headlight reminder or (NO) fan belt

yes i have a good idea for sensing this problem. i am trying to put all of  
this stuff together using easy to get (cheap) parts. so far , i have had a 
lot  of fun building things like this on the bench , so soon i will be 
showing them  off on our club website .
in the meantime , anytime a belt has broken on me (not lately!) it felt  
like my horsepower doubled , so i shut down asap and checked it out.
now if only i could "capitalize" a little on this stuff...(before someone  
else does)
