<VV> Diagnose engine "knock" ?

Yes, see my other post as to the reasons I "parked" her all those years ago
...
I probably knocked the seat out by waking her from her 12 year sleep too
abruptly.
I remember distinctly that, after the initial noise, she smoothed down real
nice and peaceful, which encouraged me to tune her up, wires, plugs, etc,
and she ran fine, so then on to brakes, park brake, started, clean her up
(oil, dirt, gunk, etc).
Now, I'm wondering what all I need to replace while I'm there (besides
O-rings and gaskets, etc) ?
I guess I might as well take the top off and replace the top cover gasket
and such as long as I'm half-way there ?
