my 67 110 / pg coupe delivered 14 mpg on it's first tank....and I was "testing it out"


Now that I've "tweaked"  the distributor's advance curve...modified the T-stats to not open before the heads are 350F,  and changed out the old 31lb  wheels for 15 lb units...
and re-aligned all 4 wheels...  21-22mpg driving spritely daily...


Admittedly, the   alignment was the largest jump in mileage...


I suggest you get yours checked by a competent Corvair / early Corvette  alignment shop...not the chain  shops that abound..
