<VV> NC #3 - "knock" confirms the "bad valve" theory ?

Interesting that should ask about the knock, since that was one of my earliest posts about this "knock at low speed before car warms up" ?

Apparently, that should have been my first clue, but having recently checked compression a few weeks before (when I first resurrected the car), I never suspected it would have gone south in the meantime.

Now, it seems so obvious it was my problem all along, while I was replacing wires, tuning the timing, carbs and everything else !!!!
All of which probably needed to be done, so at least I have that behind me !

So, it seems that the "knock" confirms the "bad valve" theory ?
