 Look under 555 timer circuits, there's no doubt something along those lines that'll be perfect. Also, look for aftermarket headlight delay modules, that may be way easier.

I'm looking for a simple electrical circuit that will power up a standard
headlight type relay a fixed amount of time - 30 seconds or so - after I
turn on the ignition and then have it turn off when I turn off the ignition.
