Two years ago I was passing through Tonawanda and saw the GM Powertrain  
plant. I got off the highway and found my way to the gate. I asked the 
security  guard if they had tours of the plant and he said no, looking kinda funny 
at me.  Then I asked if they had a souviegneer shop, you know, tee shirts, 
bumper  stickers? Now he's looking at me like I'm a nut, or a terrorist or 
something. I  said c'mon man, I have had some great engines that came from 
here, and if they  didn't sell souvieneers, they should. I think he was calling 
for backup when I  left, although I did take pictures of the big powertrain 
sign out  front.
