Perhaps not as common in the Corvair, where cases are still plentiful, 
and they are not serial number matched to the chassis, but in some 
marques, some owners find it quite common to "need" to "save" a 
particular case.  Also can make getting, then fitting, the "right" 
bearings a notable challenge.

And, a question -- is it line-bored, or is it align-bored?  Does it make 
a difference?
