No! If it doesn't sell, you don't have to get it crushed. Get an appraisal, then
donate it to a charity -- find a local one that will send a truck to pick it up
-- then take the appraisal amount as a tax deduction.

Subject: <VV> Collectible for Sale in FL - no Corvair

Thought I would take a chance to see if there is any interest among us in a
very limited production 1984 Cutlass Ciera convertible conversion (by Hess &
Eisenhart)FWD 3.0 V6 Brougham. It is in my yard in central Florida and my
homeowners insurance company (Tower Hill) has decided it is a reason to deny
coverage since it is unlicensed. It has been in the family since 1987 and was
used by both daughters, but plans to restore it have given way to a more
realistic view as I have hit 60 (a new crank kit and front struts are still
boxed up in the trunk). It is one of about 50 that were produced and is very
restorable at only $500. Please contact me if interested. This is not one of
those "or I will have to have it crushed" stories, but that's going to be my
only option if not gone in 30 days. Thanks,
Grant Young
