Or, they'll go to the Japanese government again (like they did to 
knock off almost 2/3 of the initial manufacturing costs to get the 
Prius into the USA for cheap) and get them to subsidize the battery 
cost as well...

Toyota doesn't dare let the Chevy Volt have a cheaper battery...
