<VV> AUSTRALIAN CHEVROLET HISTORY - 2010 CORSA CONVENTION

Hi everyone,

 

Well in just 17 days from now my wife 'Arlette' and I board our QANTAS B747-400 international flight from Australia to Los Angeles (14 hour 10 mins) which then connects with two (2) American Airlines domestic flights which some 6 hours later via Chicago will arrive in Cedar Rapids.

 

With times differences and crossing the International Date lIne we will have been travelling non stop for the best part of 2 days by the time we arrive in Cedar Rapids, but we are both very much looking forward to meeting everyone and enjoying a week of all things Corvair.

 

So of you might know that on the Tuesday morning I will be giving a presentation titled The History of Chevrolet in Australia. MY presentation will explain and little about Australia and how want historically Chevrolet has meant to Australians since the end of World War 2. Unfortunately these little Corvair content as Corvairs never really featured in Australia. Nevertheless it is my sincere hope that those of you who choose to attend my presentation do find it of interest, and that you gain a little more understanding of Chevrolet's involvement 'down under'

 

I had better get back to putting the final touches to my presentation as time is fast running out.
