<VV> '64 Rocker Panels

 I'll try again:

My '64 Monza CT's aluminum rocker panels are badly corroded and
water-spotted.  Before spending the bucks to buy new ones, I'm trying to
find a way to clean these up.  I've tried chrome polish, brillo pads,
even oven cleaner.  So far nothing has removed the spotting and
waterfall effect.  Does anyone have any ideas of a fix?
