 Hence the reason nearly all new cars with 4 wheel disc brakes no longer have the parking brake in the caliper. It's now a drum inside the hub area of the disc.

With the Fiero, you had to use the handbrake at least every once in a
while. And all of them had four-wheel disc brakes. Use of the handbrake
adjusted the rear disc brakes. I've had three of the little beasties.
