<VV> Rebuilding LM front end

Thinking of dropping the entire front cross-member and rebuild it  
completely. Has anyone performed this and is there a list of parts I  
could look off of and use ? Additionally found a person selling and  
entire front end removed from a car, anyway to tell what this came out  
of before I purchase it ? Pictures or a website would be great.
